Lego WeDo-Coding for the real world

Our children are learning to be the brains behind the computers! They are beginning to solve real-world challenges through coding. Isn't this just fantastic!

We have started using simple drag and drop interfaces but who knows how quickly some of our finest minds will be developing more complex algorithms. The Lego WeDo kits that the children have been becoming more familiar with in Computer Club are really encouraging them to explore the world around them and develop their own ideas and theories. How fabulous to watch them making science come to life through coding.

Take a look at some of our early steps using the WeDo 2.0 kits. Lego windmills, glowing snails and moving satellites are all helping the children to develop their computational thinking skills. I can't wait to see what they build next.
