In our Literacy lessons we are reading 'The magic Finger' by Roald Dahl. It would be useful for the children to read this at home and even better if they could read other books by Roald Dahl. For example 'the Twits' or 'Esio Trot' which are shorter stories. We are going to be working on exciting story openers, connectives (words connecting two parts of a sentence), mood connectives (ie sadly, gladly, unfortunately, happily, grimly) and dialogue to improve our story writing.
In our Numeracy lessons we have been continuing to use arrays to help with understanding of basic division as well as multiplication.
