Welcome to Reception 

The Early Years department at North Cheshire Jewish Primary School has a large, well resourced indoor and outdoor provision area. We aim to provide a stimulating and challenging learning environment which provides children with the opportunity to develop independence in all areas of the Early Years Curriculum. Children engage in focused, teacher led activities as well as learning through play. 

The areas of learning are:

• communication and language
• physical development
• personal, social and emotional development
• literacy
• mathematics
• understanding the world
• expressive arts and design

Parents of children who are currently in our Reception classes will receive a Weekly Digest via email which will contain information on our current topic area and focused task in Maths and English. It will also include information about up coming events and trips. 

Prospective parents should contact the school directly if they wish to visit the school before applying for a school place.
